A teacher who has been providing free lessons for children on social media since the start of the first lockdown has designed a quiz to put your knowledge of the subjects taught at secondary school to the test.
Rupal Ragha, who lives in Wembley, north London has been teaching young people aged five to 16 maths and English for free on her Instagram account Big Brains Tuition, which boasts over 5,000 followers.
She launched the service to help children who might not have access to their online school platform or have the technology to keep up with virtual learning and says ‘hundreds of people’ around the world tune into her virtual lessons.

‘I hold the lessons via Instagram live as it allows children to at least watch and learn from their parents’ phones, as not everyone has access to laptops and iPads,’ she said.

‘I’ve had people from all over the UK watching as well as other countries. I share the dates and times here so everyone can easily access it.
‘I do these live because children shouldn’t just be watching videos all day that have been sent by schools.
‘There is no one to ask if they don’t understand or want to clarify anything.’
