Ricch has had a quick ascent in the world of hip-hop after receiving widespread acclaim for his early EPs and his 2018 single Die Young.

In 2019, his debut LP Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial debuted atop the Billboard 200 album charts.

His single The Box on the same album reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart as well.

In 2020, he joined DaBaby on his single Rockstar, earning him his second number one song.

He has already amassed nine Grammy nominations, with one win at the 2020 ceremony for his collaboration with the late Nipsey Hussle their 2019 song Racks In The Middle.

Hussle was shot and killed outside of his clothing store in Los Angeles on March 31, 2019.

Ricch later joined an onstage tribute to Hussle and Kobe Bryant at the 2020 Grammy Awards ceremony.

Detroit rapper 42 Dugg made his top 10 debut on the Billboard Hot 100 chart last year with his Lil Baby collaboration We Paid.

The rappers collaborated earlier in 2020 on the single Grace, which peaked in the top 50 on the Hot 100 list.

Dugg previously spent 6 years in jail on carjacking charges, and he was arrested in March 2020 on federal gun charges.

In June, he fled police trying to make a traffic stop in Oakland County, where Detroit is located.

He spent two months as a fugitive before being apprehended in August.
