Married At First Sight star Michael Brunelli has written a brutal open letter, warning the season eight stars of the reality show not to befriend former cast members.
In a long post shared to Instagram on Monday, Michael, 29, who starred on season six, said that the old guard may take advantage of the incomers for their own ends.
The former teacher claimed some MAFS alums will try to set up paparazzi shots with the new cast members during friendly ‘meetings’.

‘Expect former MAFS people to contact you. Some might be genuinely trying to offer support, but others will be looking to get their 15 mins back.
‘If they start asking to catch-up at specific times and places just know it’s a setup to be photographed,’ he wrote.
Michael also begged this year’s stars to not spoil the storylines, writing: ‘Please don’t f**k it up like last season. We’ve all had a tough year, just let us watch the train wreck in peace’.

‘When you do your media appearances suck it up and don’t give away the storyline. Absolutely nobody wants to know how the season ends after the first episode.’
He then told the cast that their egos shouldn’t get away from them, nor let the fame of the show ‘go to their head.’
Michael additionally offered advice on how to deal with the seemingly endless amount of trolls that will attack the cast online.

‘The trolls will come. You can ignore them, expose them or clap back… pick your poison!’ he said.
‘But exposing has to be the most fun, especially when they’re dumb enough to do it from their real accounts.’
Michael and his girlfriend Martha Kalifatidis, who he ‘married’ on the show, are no doubt one of the most famous breakout stars of Married At First Sight.

The pair have gone on to become influencers, and Michael now boasts 241,000 followers on Instagram.
Martha, meanwhile, has become a highly-successful beauty blogger and has 514,000 followers on Instagram.
Michael also hosts his own online personal training course, while Martha will soon star on the upcoming season of Celebrity Apprentice Australia.
