The Weeknd receives custom diamond ring commemorating his charismatic Super Bowl LV Halftime Show performance

Tom Brady and the rest of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers aren’t the only ones who will be walking away from the team’s recent Super Bowl win with a blinged-out championship ring.

The Weeknd was presented with his very own diamond-studded ring in commemoration as the headlining artist for the Super Bowl LV Halftime Show in Tampa, Florida.

The piece is not the official ring the Bucs will receive, but instead it’s a one-of-a-kind design with 16 carats of VVS diamonds from celebrity jeweler Elliot Eliantte.

The front of the ring has an ‘XO’, which is likely in recognition of The Weeknd’s record label XO, along with a a huge marquise-cut diamond to represent the Lombardi Trophy and the words ‘World Champions’ written on outside.

On one side of the piece there’s The Weeknd’s name and the score of the big game — Tampa Bay Buccaneers 31 and Kansas City Chiefs 9 — as well as a football-shaped stone and the Super Bowl LV logo.

The other side has the musician’s name spelled out again and the Pepsi Halftime Show logo, along with diamonds in various cuts surrounding the giant piece.

According to TMZ, the ring was commissioned by Amir Esmailian, also known as Cash XO, and given to the musician for his 31st birthday, which was on Tuesday, February 16.

Esmailian is a talent manager, music executive and record producer, who’s best known as The Weeknd’s co-manager, and co-founder and manager of XO Records.

Despite the limited seating for the Super Bowl due to the COVID-19 pandemic, The Weeknd (born Abel Makkonen Tesfaye) still got to perform on the world’s biggest stage, which was played at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida this year.
