It seems the star is planning to stay in Tulum – the popular tourist attraction on the stunning Caribbean coastline of Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula – for a while.

Appearing on The Dab Roast, she spilled: ‘I just got my permanent residency card from Mexico, and I’m so grateful to have it. This is a really healing land here and it is truly magical.’

The Charmed star’s move comes after she professed she ‘stands with’ Evan Rachel Wood, 33, in light of abuse allegations she had made against rocker Marilyn Manson, 52.

Rose was engaged to Manson, real name Brian Warner, for two years before they ended their romance in 2001.

Westworld star Evan accused her Manson, who she was also engaged to, of ‘brainwashing’ her and ‘manipulating her into submission’ and Rose has now said she’s ‘profoundly sorry’ to hear Evan’s story.

Speaking out, she branded Hollywood ‘a cult’ and insisted she is supportive of the alleged survivors.

In a statement posted to Instagram last week, Rose penned: ‘My statement: I am profoundly sorry to those who have suffered the abuse & mental torture of Marilyn Manson.

‘When I say Hollywood is a cult, I mean the Entertainment industry including the music industry is a cult. Cult’s protect the rot at the top…

‘Theirs is a sickness that must be stopped. The industrial fame complex chooses who they protect & who they’ll let be their victims. For profit. I stand with Evan Rachel Wood and all of those who have or will come forward…

‘And please don’t pull out the “why did they take so much time to come forward?” question that shames victims/survivors, it’s what stops others from coming forward. And to all of those who have covered for monsters, shame on you. Rise and say no more.

Rose ended their engagement in 2001, blaming ‘lifestyle differences.’ In a statement, the actress famously said: ‘There is great love, but our lifestyle difference is, unfortunately, even greater.’

She has not accused Manson of abuse. McGowan was famously among the first women to speak out against Harvey Weinstein.

Rose settling in Mexico comes after she admitted she finally found peace in her life last June.

The actress was one of the first women to accuse Harvey Weinstein of sexual assault when she alleged in 2017 that he had raped her in 1997.

After the disgraced movie mogul was found guilty of third-degree rape and a first-degree criminal sexual act last year, she was hugely relieved to know he can’t ‘hurt’ her anymore.

She said at the time: The feeling of peace has come. This person can’t hurt me anymore. He was a one-man wrecking crew. He destroyed so many lives.

‘Thank God the jury saw through that old fashioned s***-shaming.

‘After he was found guilty, he said, ‘I can’t believe this happened in America.’ It was the first time I ever agreed with him.’

Rose was in ‘utter shock’ when the guilty verdict came through because she expected the producer to walk away.

Asked how she felt about the verdict, she said: ‘I was in utter shock. The cases they tried in Manhattan were the weakest cases they had I think Harvey thought he was going to get off because of that. That’s why he was sleeping through testimony.

‘One of his core victims was having a full breakdown and he slept through it.’

Rose previously spoke of her belief that people were being paid to ‘terrorise’ her and she’s admitted the pressure got so bad, she fled to a retirement complex, where she had a ‘nervous breakdown.

She said: ‘A year and a half ago, people were being paid to drive me insane and terrorise me and plant drugs.

‘It was like I had spies following me, recording my life secretly. I had all this crazy pressure. I cracked at one point, after someone was hired to terrorise me at a book signing.

‘I hid at a retirement community in Florida, among a bunch of senior citizens, and I had a nervous breakdown there.

‘I learned that you can survive your brain breaking and you can put it back together. What I have now is a peace that can’t be bought – and I didn’t have that before. Ever.’
