Caring: Comedian Melanie Bracewell, 25, took to Instagram this week to remind followers to check in with their neighbours during lockdown. She shared a hilarious skit of her reaching out to the woman who lived next door, which she believed lived alone

‘So I decided to write her a sign… To see if she’s doing OK during isolation.’

Armed with a permanent marker and large brown paper bag, the comic scribbled down a heart-warming message, telling for her neighbour to reach out if she needed anything.

‘I hope you’re OK. Let me know if you need anything,’ Melanie’s message read.

She then proceeded to stick it to the outside of her house, in clear view of her neighbour’s window.
