RHONJ: Jackie Goldschneider confronts Teresa Giudice over rumor

Jackie Goldschneider confronted Teresa Giudice for spreading a baseless cheating rumor on Wednesday’s season premiere of The Real Housewives Of New Jersey.

The season 11 episode titled ‘C U Next Tuesday?’ opened with Teresa, 48, arriving at the neutral-site home of Margaret Josephs, 53, for a tête-à-tête with Jackie, 44.

Jackie called the meeting after learning that Teresa while a guest at the birthday party for her husband Evan Goldschneider spread a rumor that he cheated on her at his Tenafly, New Jersey gym.

Teresa at the party started stirring the pot first with her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga, 41, after Jackie gave a sweet speech about Evan being a great husband and father.

‘I heard he does stuff. Does he?’,’ Teresa said as Jackie and Evan were shown happily kissing.

‘What?,’ Melissa replied.

‘I don’t know, does he do things?,’ Teresa said.

‘Like what?,’ Melissa asked.

‘I heard he does stuff at the gym. Does he?,’ Teresa said.

‘Huh? I don’t even know what you’re talking about,’ Melissa said in a confessional.

Teresa then figured that Margaret might know since she lives in the same area and approached her.

‘You know a lot of people. Like, why do I hear rumors about Evan?,’ Teresa asked Margaret.

Margaret then asked Teresa what she had heard about Evan.

‘Like when he goes to the gym, he screws around,’ Teresa said.

Jackie found out about it the next day when a friend called and said she overheard Teresa telling people at the party about the cheating rumor.

She asked Teresa to meet her at Margaret’s house for a talk in ‘neutral territory’.

Jackie asked Teresa to listen to her as she addressed the rumor spreading.

‘Evan is the best guy in the world. My marriage is beautiful. My family is beautiful. This weekend, you took his name and what’s most important to him in the world — being a great husband and father — and you s*** all over it,’ said Jackie, who has sons Jonas, 12, Adin, 12, Hudson, 10, and daughter Alexis, 10, with Evan.

‘And you did it to all of our friends at his birthday party. I don’t know if you made it up, or if someone really told you, but you need to admit that whoever told you this doesn’t know me and Evan, gave you no evidence of anything. Like, you have to admit this was a lie. You have to do the right thing,’ Jackie implored her.

‘Listen, Jackie. I don’t want you to be upset. This is a rumor that I heard,’ Teresa replied.

‘From who?,’ Jackie asked, but Teresa said she couldn’t ‘say the person’s name’.

Jackie asked if the person knew her and Evan and Teresa said she had ‘no idea’.

‘Obviously they do, because they said it, but I didn’t get into details,’ Teresa added.

‘Woman to woman, if I heard this, you wouldn’t want me to tell you?,’ Teresa asked.

Margaret who had left the women alone re-entered the room and Teresa asked her if she would want to know if there was a rumor about her man.

‘Not at a party,’ Margaret told her.

‘Sorry. Maybe I shouldn’t have said it at the party, but I was drinking,’ Teresa said.

The discussion got heated as Jackie insisted that Teresa refute the rumor.

‘I need you to admit, whoever told you this had no evidence and was just saying words that you took and ran with,’ she said.

‘I never asked for evidence. I’m just letting you know somebody put this out there,’ Teresa told her.

‘I need you to admit that this is a lie!,’ Jackie shouted.

‘Clear my husband’s name. I need you to admit you were spreading a baseless rumor with absolutely no evidence,’ she added.

Teresa countered that she didn’t ‘spread a rumor’, but only ‘heard a rumor’.

Jackie then turned the table by instantly starting her own rumor about Teresa’s 20-year-old daughter Gia.

‘Okay well you know what? I heard that Gia snorts coke in the bathroom at parties,’ Jackie said.

‘I’ve heard it. I don’t know where I heard it, but I heard it from somebody. But it’s the same thing! How is that not the same thing?,’ she asked Teresa.

‘Now you’re a f***ing c***. Go f*** yourself,’ Teresa told her.

‘I’m living the life that you want to live. I win!,’ Jackie shouted at her.

Teresa stormed out of the house as Margaret chased after her.

‘F*** her. She’s a c***. She brought up my daughter, she’s a f***ing c***. She’s disgusting,’ Teresa fumed while adding a string of bleeped-out profanities.

Teresa at the party also spread the rumor to Dolores Catania, 50, who admitted she would be surprised if it was true.

Jennifer Aydin, 42, also dismissed the rumor while revealing that Teresa had told her about it ‘awhile back’.

‘It went in one ear and out the other because she didn’t even remember the person who told her. At the end of the day, if you don’t have any receipts, honey, shut the f*** up,’ Jennifer said in a confessional.

Melissa also shared her dismay in a confessional about Teresa spreading the rumor at Evan’s birthday party.

‘What the f*** is she doing right now? You don’t just blurt things out like that. How do we erase that? Someone needs to press rewind because that is not okay,’ she said.

She also felt for Jackie who was unaware that Teresa was badmouthing her husband.

‘My heart is actually aching for Jackie,’ Melissa said in a confessional. ‘Jackie is over there prancing around in a little pink dress. 

‘She thinks this is like the best night and she has absolutely no idea that Teresa is walking around this party making a complete fool out of her.’

‘We have a f***ing disaster right now, because whether it’s true or not, this to Jackie would be devastating in the worst way possible,’ she added.

The season 11 premiere also showed Dolores dealing with the fallout from having a secret butt lift without telling her boyfriend David.

He walked away from their conversation after Dolores brought up the issue of commitment to their relationship.
