Married At First Sight: Ines Basic crashes her car at a shopping centre

Ines Basic is already going through a difficult time as her scandalous season of Married At First Sight airs in the UK, sparking a fresh wave of backlash.

And she faced another setback on Thursday when she crashed her car at a shopping centre.

The 30-year-old was attempting to reverse her white Jeep into a space in an underground car park when she hit a concrete barrier.

The mishap caused significant damage to her car – scraping its side, locking her into the driver’s seat and knocking the right mirror off. 

The former legal assistant documented the incident on Instagram Stories, saying: ‘I have a problem with reversing into shopping mall poles.’

She added: ‘Oh, my god, you guys. I can’t stop laughing. Like, my god. I can’t believe my boyfriend asked me if I wanted to drive his Mercedes.

‘Like sure, if you want half a car, absolutely I want to drive it. Oh, my god.’ 

Ines then explained she’d had another accident ‘the other week’ which saw her crack the vehicle’s left mirror. 

‘I outdid myself today,’ she said. 

The social media influencer went on to document her failed attempts at getting out of the vehicle from the driver’s seat.

‘Oh, my god, you guys. I can’t get out of my car, and I just realised there’s more damage,’ she said.

‘I didn’t think it was this bad. Look, like, I’m trapped in it. The door’s jammed.’

She was flooded with messages on Instagram from fans asking if she was okay.

Meanwhile, others laughed at the situation and some even offered to come to the shopping centre to help her out.

Ines laughed off the predicament, and said her boyfriend – whose identity she hasn’t yet revealed – wouldn’t allow her get a Porsche because of her clumsy driving

‘Hope he’ll still let me get one. Prob get a lifetime subscription to Uber instead,’ she wrote in response to a follower.
