‘I’m not an idiot!’ Charlotte Dawson tells critics to ‘shut up’ after being slammed for placing her phone charger in newborn son Noah’s cot

Charlotte Dawson angrily told trolls to ‘shut up’ as she defended herself after being criticised for putting a mobile phone charger in her newborn baby’s cot.

The Ex On The Beach star, 28, who is the daughter of late comedian Les Dawson was unhappy that she received messages from concerned followers on her social media who told her she shouldn’t put a phone charger anywhere near her baby.

She had earlier shown her son Noah, three weeks, lying in his cot beside a white phone charging wire, which some thought was too close to his head.

Charlotte, who shares Noah with her fiancé Matthew Sarsfield, told fans she’d finally finished filming and that things were so hard with a newborn.

Following the video her mailbox was flooded with messages from unhappy fans.

An annoyed Charlotte explained: ‘There have been so many messages about that video that I put on with Noah in his cot and the charger is in his cot, slightly, eh nowhere near him because I was charging my phone literally for two minutes, and I went like that and then took it straight back out.’

Biting into a burger Charlotte added: ‘Honestly people need to shut up. I’m not stupid, like I’m not an idiot like honestly, chuff off.’

Charlotte had spent her day filming and also told fans that her son didn’t recognise her with make up on.

Last week, the first-time mother kept it real as she documented her struggle to get out of her dressing gown and get dressed up for Valentine’s celebrations.

Charlotte shared a video of herself on Instagram Stories with no make-up and wearing a blue dressing with ‘brown sauce’ on it earlier in the day.

She said: ‘I really wanna get dressed up for Valentine’s day so that Matthew fancies me but I just really can’t be a****.’

However, she later slipped into a short red dress to mark the romantic holiday with her fiancé with a steak dinner and red heart balloons.

The couple’s date night did not go quite smoothly as planned as baby Noah needed to be fed, delaying their own dinner, and then got sick on her dress.
