‘The energy she generates for not only herself, but for me and anyone that enters the room is so irresistibly compelling!

‘UPDATE: The doctors told me this morning that she’s making her own cells ALREADY which is amazing news and they cannot believe how strong she is and how well she’s doing!’

Ashley went on to share his gratitude to the person who donated their newborn’s umbilical cord to be used for stem cell treatment.

He added: ‘DONOR: Azaylia’s stem cells came from an umbilical cord which was donated from a lady directly after giving birth.

‘This was great for Azaylia as the cord cells are very rich and because of her age, the amount of cells in the cord are sufficient for her.

‘Also, it meant that the cord could be requested and sent immediately for Azaylia’s urgent need of a transplant!

‘Unfortunately as it is a cord donor, it means that we will never be able to meet the people who have given Azaylia her stem cells and the greatest gift imaginable!

Ashley added she had trouble breathing, a bloated and firm stomach, bruises on her tummy and a puffy face.

The reality star said the couple were turned away by several doctors saying Azaylia was just constipated, before they got her official diagnosis.

Ashley also shared heartwarming snaps of his ‘strong, mighty’ daughter.

The television personality said his daughter has now begun the ‘toughest journey imaginable’ as she continues to fight the disease.

He wrote: ‘Today was by far the biggest day of our lives. One that we have been hoping, wishing and praying for.

‘The day Azaylia received her stem cell transplant and begins the toughest journey imaginable to save her precious life! We believe in you princess.

‘You are strong, you are mighty, you are courageous and God is with you! You got this Likkle Lion. We love you! ❤️ LETS GO CHAMP!’

According to the NHS website, patients who receive a stem cell transplant must stay in hospital for a few weeks while they wait for their stem cells to settle in their bone marrow and start producing new cells.

It comes after the reality star recently confirmed that a donor had been found for the stem cell transplant.

Ashley said he was devastated to learn his five-month-old was at a higher risk of complications going into the transplant after her cancer returned, following two rounds of chemotherapy.

The post comes after Ashley revealed 80,000 people became stem cell donors 48 hours after he appealed for the public’s help amid his daughter’s health battle.

Saying that he was ‘forever grateful’ to the members of the public who had ordered test kits to be added to the stem cell register, Ashley claimed the charities usually get 30-40,000 people registering in a single year.

Ashley, who made his appeal to find a donor on social media, said he thought it was ‘beautiful’ how people could come together for a good cause in spite of negativity that is often prevalent online.

Reflecting on Azaylia’s health battle, he explained that when they discovered she was diagnosed with leukaemia she had a soaring white cell count of 200, and also had tumours on her lungs, kidneys, and stomach.

He revealed that a normal person’s white cell count is five, while adults who are suffering from the blood cancer tend to have a white cell count of 40, so it was alarming that Azalyia’s was so high.

Ashley explained that being told the news left him a ‘broken man’, and he claimed it was an ‘absolute miracle’ that she has been able to fight the cancer.
