The Block host Scott Cam recently embarked on a health and fitness journey, even building himself a ‘gym cave’ in a bid to get fit. 

And on Wednesday, the beloved tradesman and TV personality showed off his dramatic body transformation, looking almost unrecognisable. 

Scotty shared to Instagram a picture of himself as he went shirtless at the beach, looking slim and toned.

In the image, Scotty wears a pair of board shorts as he makes a splash alongside his adorable pet dog, Frankie.

In May last year, Scotty told Daily Mail Australia about his weight loss and said he trains four times a week, doing interval training.  

The TV star explained that his workout routine consists of 30 minutes of weight training – with 45 seconds on and 15 seconds off.

Scotty alternates between five sets of six exercises, focusing on different muscle groups every day.

‘I have lost some weight, but it’s more about getting healthy,’ he said. 

He added that while he has always tried to be ‘cautious’ of what he is eating, he is ‘trying his best’ to consume less snacks.

The popular presenter said his decision to get back on track with his fitness and change his lifestyle first came over the holiday season.

‘I started over Christmas break and kept going,’ he explained. ‘I’ve been a fan of the gym on and off for years. ‘I’ve never been consistent though until I started during the break.’
