Anya Taylor-Joy is a vision in red as she shoots scenes for David O. Russell’s untitled film in LA

Production on director David O. Russell’s next cinematic masterpiece has been underway in Los Angeles over the past several months despite COVID-19.

And Anya Taylor-Joy was a vision in red as she shot scenes for the mystery-shrouded film on Tuesday afternoon at an undisclosed location.

The Queen’s Gambit star, 24, was joined on set by a number of her co-stars, including Margot Robbie and Robert De Niro.

Taylor-Joy, who walked the closed set without a mask, but socially-distanced, slipped her slender frame into a red floor-length gown for Tuesday’s film shoot.

The striking garment featured a sweetheart neckline and a waist belt in a slightly more vibrant shade of red with a silver buckle.

The buckle coordinate with the unique bracelet around her wrist and the studs in her ears.

One of the spaghetti strap sleeves of Anya’s dress was completely consumed by an array of flowers – a corsage of sorts.

Being careful: In order to keep her makeup from smearing as she made her way from her trailer to the set, Anya held a black mask in front of her mouth and nose, but a few inches away from her face

The New Mutants actress had her bleach blonde tresses styled into a romantic updo that was completed with a rhinestone barrette on one side.

As for her makeup, the rising star sported a flattering ruby red lip, a light dusting of brown eyeshadow on her lids, and a generous amount of eyebrow pencil to create a structured brow.

The 30-year-old Academy Award nominee shielded the majority of her frame with a large black umbrella, but her brunette finger-waved hair was still visible.

De Niro, who has collaborated with Russell for several films, including the 2012 rom-com Silver Linings Playbook, was spotted rocking a black tuxedo.

The Hollywood veteran, 77, completed his suave costume with a black bow tie and – order to adhere to coronavirus protocols – a face mask.

Robert navigated around the top secret set with a stack of papers tucked under his arm and a pair of reading glasses on his face.

John David Washington, who is the son of Denzel Washington helped round out the day’s cast of characters, along with comedian Chris Rock and Belgian actor Matthias Schoenaerts.

Washington, as well as Rock, donned tuxedos, which suggests that a more elaborate scene was being filmed on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Schoenaerts walked to and from the various trailers spread out around the lot in an oversized dress shirt, a set of suspenders, and a pair of black trousers.

Although they were not pictured on Tuesday, Russell’s latest film also features performances by Christian Bale, Zoe Saldana, Mike Myers, Timothy Olyphant and Alessandro Nivola, as well as Michael Shannon, Andrea Riseborough and Matthias Schoenaerts, according to Deadline.

Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence, who has collaborated with Russell on Silver Linings Playbook, American Hustle and Joy, is not linked to the project, as she’s currently making the movie Don’t Look Up.

Russell is the director of multiple critically acclaimed films, including Silver Linings Playbook, which was nominated for Best Picture, Director and Adapted Screenplay at the Academy Awards and won the Best Actress trophy for Jennifer Lawrence.

The movie marked Russell’s first collaboration with De Niro, who earned a Best Supporting Actor nomination at the Oscars.

He’s also the director of Three Kings, starring George Clooney, Mark Wahlberg and Ice Cube, and the Fighter, which first paired him with Bale.
