Michelle Keegan wraps up warm in long padded coat to film ‘stalker’ scenes for Brassic in Manchester

Michelle Keegan braved the chilly temperatures to film her latest scenes for Brassic as she donned a full-length puffer jacket between takes on Monday.

The actress, 33, who plays Erin Croft on the Sky One series, wore the hood of the white padded coat over her head, during her night on set in Manchester.

The star was on set to film her latest scenes for her character in Brassic which see her being pursued through the dark streets by a stalker.

Opting for warmth between takes, the former Coronation Street star’s ensemble underneath the coat featured a hooded zip-up cheetah print jacket and black jeans.

Michelle wore bold hooped earrings with her long brown hair tied in a small top-knot and the rest falling loose around her shoulders.

Tapping into her character, she pulled an angry face in what looked like a confrontation with a bald-headed man in a dark coat.

Michelle was forced to stop filming the third series of the show last year in order to isolate after she was exposed to COVID-19, although she did not contract the virus.

A source told MailOnline: ‘Michelle had to take time away from the Brassic set once again and has been laying low in Essex with her husband Mark Wright.

‘She only missed one day of filming. But she needed to isolate after she came into contact with someone in Manchester who had it.

‘Luckily it all happened very quickly and Michelle did not return to the Brassic set before isolating. So it didn’t affect filming too much.

‘She has spent last two weeks in total isolation. She will go back to filming at the end of this week.’

Brassic follows the story of Lancashire native Vinnie, who suffers from bipolar disorder and his best friend Dylan, played by Damien Molony, from whom he has been inseparable since childhood.

The boys have dealt, scammed, bribed and conned their way through adolescence, but now, on the brink of adulthood, their dealing and stealing is catching up with them, with the repercussions of their crimes heading their way.

Michelle plays a single mum seeking a better life for herself and son Tyler, while navigating complicated relationships with show leads Dylan and Vinnie.

The new series of Brassic is expected to air on Sky One later this year.
