Brendon Fevola falls on his face in viral ‘centre of gravity’ challenge

That’s gotta hurt! Brendon Fevola falls on his face in viral ‘centre of gravity’ challenge that men simply can’t do

He may be a footy champion and top-rating breakfast radio host, but it seems there are some things even Brendan Fevola can’t do.

On Tuesday, the 40-year-old spectacularly failed at a viral challenge that is sweeping the Internet and pitting men against women.

After broadcasting the Fifi, Fev & Nick show, the retired Carlton star attempted the challenge alongside Fox FM producer Darcie Ridgeway.

Can he do it? In a bid to prove he can defy gravity, Brendan Fevola and Fox Fm producer Darcie Ridgeway appear to kneel on the ground, before falling to their forearms, cupping their faces with their hands and then reaching their arms behind their backs. Pictured, Darcie and Brendan mid challenge

The pair knelt on the ground and leaned on their forearms, then cupped their faces with their hands and reached their arms behind their backs.

While Darcie was able to do this easily, Brendan fell flat on his face at the last stage of the challenge.

Clearly embarrassed by his attempt, he said on Instagram: ‘Thanks for stitching me up after work today.’

The in-studio footage also showed Brendan’s co-host Fifi Box cackling at his attempt.

He noted that the challenge is impossible for men – for whatever reason – but women can apparently pull it off with ease.

The challenge started on TikTok, and usually undertaken between couples.

Experts says the reason men fall and women don’t can be explained by the natural centre of gravity difference between men and women.

Generally speaking, men are built longer and larger than women, and their proportions make it more difficult to move in the same fashion.

Scientist Jeremy Johnson told The Sun: ‘The centre of mass for most girls is lower to the hips, while the centre of mass in boys is much higher.’
