The Project’s Lisa Wilkinson cracks a SHOCKING joke about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s potential baby name after they announced their second pregnancy on Valentine’s Day

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry confirmed they are expecting their second child on Valentine’s Day.

And on Monday night’s The Project, outspoken host Lisa Wilkinson made a very risqué joke about the pair’s potential baby name choice, while discussing the happy news with the panel.

‘That pregnancy has obviously happened very, very quickly,’ the 61-year-old said. ‘What do you think the chances are of that kid being called Andrew?’

Lisa’s shock joke was seemingly referring to Queen Elizabeth’s son Prince Andrew, who in recent years has faced a number of allegations about sexual assault.

Her co-host Jan Fran responded: ‘I would say, slim to none!’

The former royals announced their pregnancy alongside a gorgeous black-and-white image taken by the couple’s longtime friend, Misan Harriman.

The pair – who are currently residing in California – are preparing to welcome a brother or sister for their son Archie, who will be two in May, later this year.

A spokesperson for Meghan and Harry said: ‘We can confirm that Archie is going to be a big brother. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are overjoyed to be expecting their second child.’

Meanwhile, Lisa herself celebrated Valentine’s Day with her husband Peter FitzSimons, sharing a throwback snap of the couple taken over 19 years ago.

‘Doing Valentine’s Day in my pyjamas with this guy since 1992 (when this was taken). My Lord, we were such babies!!’ she captioned the post.

Lisa shares three adult children with the 59-year-old former rugby union player-turned-author.

In a post on Instagram in September for their wedding anniversary, Lisa confessed that many people thought their union ‘wouldn’t last’.

‘When Pete and I met way back at Xmas in 1991, there were many – including my sweet, protective mum – who said we wouldn’t last,’ she began.

‘Those voices only got louder when we walked down the aisle a ridiculously short nine months later on the 26th September 1992.’

But she said they defied everyone’s expectations and are still just as in love as ever.

She added: ‘It ain’t perfect, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. So here’s to our beautiful supportive village. And our imperfect union.’
