The Living Room’s Miguel Maestre shows off his buff new physique after revealing he has lost a whopping 18kg

Celebrity chef Miguel Maestre has lost a whopping 18kg in recent months. 

And on Monday, The Living Room star showed off his buff new physique by uploading a shirtless photo to his Instagram. 

The 41-year-old revealed he was ‘closer to becoming gladiator’ and is ‘paying rent’ by training three times per week.

‘Getting closer to become a gladiator!!!!!’ he wrote.

Miguel revealed he spends one day training with former Biggest Loser trainer Shannan Ponton.

The Living Room star also told fans that he is currently on a healthy Mediterranean diet and only has a cheat meal on the weekend.

‘Still a long way but at 41 I feel like the year of the ox is just turned into the year of @thecrazybull,’ he said of his progress.

Back in April, Miguel encouraged fans to ‘love their body’ as he shared a picture of himself flaunting his slimmed-down frame.

In his caption, the I’m A Celebrity winner joked that he’s slowing becoming a ‘Spanish gladiator’ as he gets into shape.

‘And I say from a big 118kg big boy to a healthier version on myself is a massive change, not quite the six pack but a hell of a smile,’ Miguel said.

‘Don’t try to be like that people you see in social media, they [are] not even real and definitely don’t smile like this.’

He added: ‘Love your body, we [are] all different. Feel good.
