Ben Shephard whipped up a Valentine’s Day treat for his wife Annie on Sunday – admitting it’s the first time he’s remembered the holiday.
Ben posted a video to his Instagram page of him making a bespoke cocktail for Annie based on her love for Agatha Christie novels.
Dubbing it the Marple Sparkle, after iconic sleuth Miss Marple, Ben channeled Tom Cruise from the film Cocktail as he blended an assortment of ingredients together for the drink.

Ben mixed the likes of ice and gin together for the fizzy beverage, calling on Annie to come and taste the drinks and toast V-Day.
The pair – who married at the Burgh Island Hotel in Devon in 2004 and share sons, Jack, 15, and Sam, 14 – toasted Ben’s concoction with Annie if he could make some more.
The Good Morning Britain host snapped a selfie of them both and captioned this: ‘Happy Valentines! 25 years and I remembered this year!!’
Annie is an interior and garden designer. She is such a keen Agatha Christie fan that her Instagram picture is of Marple actress Margaret Rutherford in Murder At The Gallop.
