Dan Levy leaves an encouraging note for this weekend’s Saturday Night Live host Regina King after he MC’d the show last week: ‘You got this!’

She recently broke records with her Golden Globe nomination for Best Director.

And ahead of her hosting gig on Saturday Night Live this weekend, Academy Award winner Regina King posted a sweet mirror selfie to her Instagram stories.

The social media share showed King, 50, standing in a dressing room within NBC’s New York City facility, with a Post-it note from previous SNL host Dan Levy front and center.

‘Regina! You got this! Much love, Dan’ read the note, which Regina looked at smiling. 

Underneath, she wrote, ‘Awww. You’re the best @instadanjlevy You crushed it!’

The Jerry Maguire star added the hashtag #snl.

Dan, in turn, re-shared Regina‘s post to his Story, adding the caption, ‘Can’t wait to watch you knock it out the park this weekend. @iamreginking!’

Emmy-winning Schitt’s Creek creator Levy hosted Saturday Night Live last week, along with musical guest Phoebe Bridgers.

King, meanwhile, is hosting alongside singer-songwriter Nathaniel Rateliff.

Regina, who won an Oscar in 2019 for her supporting role in If Beale Street Could Talk, is now receiving recognition for directing the new film One Night In Miami. 

The movie tells the story of an imagined and fateful meeting between icons Muhammad Ali, Malcolm X, Sam Cooke and Jim Brown.

King has also received major praise and accolades, including a Primetime Emmy, for her role in HBO’s Watchmen.
