And Gemma Collins appeared to be brushing off any traces of drama as she shared a snap to Instagram on Friday, in an apparent nod to the day’s furore.
The TOWIE star, 40, beamed a smile as she pointed at her black slogan hoodie which boldly read: ‘You’re obsessed with me & I love it.’

Gemma kept things cheery in her post, telling her fans to have a good weekend as she plugged the logo hoodie from her own clothing collection.
The reality star looked sensational as she posed up a storm in her all-black ensemble, letting her blonde locks cascade over one shoulder.
Several of the GC’s fans took to the comments section after she shared the defiant picture praising her emotional appearance on Life Stories.
One person penned, ‘thought you came across really well by the way on Piers Morgan’s Life Stories’, while several others admitted they ‘loved’ the interview.

Gemma’s Instagram post came hours after Charlotte, 30, took to her Instagram Stories where she branded the TOWIE star ‘vile and rude’ in a scathing rant.
The Geordie Shore babe said she couldn’t ‘hold her tongue any longer’ and accused Gemma of ‘degrading everyone’ as she unleashed a character assassination.
Beneath an image of Gemma on being interviewed on television, Charlotte wrote: ‘I can’t hold my tongue any longer. This women is the most rudest vilest women I’ve been in the same airspace of.

The Geordie Shore star uploaded another image, this time of Piers Morgan, and wrote: ‘I’m sorry but. This needs to be said now. This women is vile!
‘What had this girl done on TV but degrade everyone and act like she’s the dogs b***ocks. I have first hand witnessed her ABSOLUTE RUDENESS.’
It’s not known when the alleged ‘rudeness’ incident took place, but Charlotte and Gemma posed together aboard MailOnline’s yacht at the 2016 Cannes Lions festival.

Shortly after Charlotte’s remarks, TOWIE’s Saffron Lempriere also took to Instagram to share her options calling Gemma a ‘nutcase’.
Sharing an article referencing Charlotte’s earlier post, Saffron penned: ‘Not just one of us. She thinks she’s in an untouchable bubble the rumours this nutcase said about me, treated me like a dogs body & lied beyond belief nobody knows half.
‘She lost the most loyal friend to her I will never ever interview for money to this thing (something she will go round saying).
‘Ironically I was contacted by pierce Morgan’s Life Stories to chat on there trust me that would never have gone down well! (Sic),’ Saffron continued.

Saffron, who joined TOWIE in 2018 as Gemma’s best pal, ended her post by saying: ‘So for everyone asking me why I didn’t take part I would feed you with more b****x.’
The reality star later shared another message to Stories showing what appeared to be an email from Life Stories asking if she’d like to talk about the GC on the show.
However Saffron wrote: Either the show didn’t research or this was another part of the plan. But to everyone saying I’m not supportive etc etc this women caused me upset beyond so please no more! I have not spoken to it for 2 years and will not.’

Charlotte’s shock rant and Saffron’s allegations came as Gemma revealed she felt suicidal as her on-off boyfriend James Argent’s battles with drug addiction destroyed their relationship at the end of 2019.
During her interview with Piers, she confessed that when her on-off-boyfriend James ‘Arg’ Argent hit rock bottom over Christmas of that year, she considered taking her own life.
Troubled James was taken to hospital for the second time in two months in 2019, after friends and family feared he had attempted a second ‘overdose’.
Arg would go on to seek treatment at the start of 2020, jetting off to Thailand to spend several weeks trying to kick his drink and drug habit once and for all.
On his return, home, further heartbreak followed, when Gemma endured a miscarriage at the start of the COVID-19 lockdown last spring – news which took a toll on both her and James.

In the incredibly honest chat with Piers, she also spoke about suffering with her mental health earlier in life.
Gemma spoke about her experiences with self-harm, admitting she started when she was 20 years old after breaking up with her long-term boyfriend and being forced to terminate a pregnancy as doctors said the baby was ‘deformed’.
As Gemma spoke about her struggles, viewers took to Twitter in droves to express their admiration for the TV personality’s ‘strength’ and ‘bravery’.
