An energetic toddler struggled to contain her excitement as she was treated to a taste of chocolate mousse for the first time. 

Victoria Jagger recorded her daughter Sommer Jeal after dinner at their home in Bromley, Kent.

The 36-year-old, who said she had been holding back on giving the little girl sugary products, was delighted by Sommer’s enthusiastic reaction.

In the clip, Sommer can be seen sitting patiently in her high chair with a bib secured around her neck.

Victoria is sitting just out of shot but scoops a spoonful of chocolate mousse out of a bowl and encourages Sommer to taste it as she says: ‘What’s this? Try.’

Sommer chows down on the delicious dessert and within a split second begins to wildly flail her limbs in delight.

She widens her eyes and stares at her mother as she excitedly jiggles up and down in her highchair.

Victoria says: ‘I know, it’s amazing isn’t it? Have you ever had chocolate before? Try Try.’ 

Sommer reaches out to grab more from the bowl as Victoria swoops in with another spoonful.

The little girl mumbles hurriedly as she jiggles around once again with a renewed energy before being handed the spoon to use for herself.

But it isn’t long before she flicks mousse on to the high chair and Victoria takes back over as she continues feeding the little girl with the same adorable result.
