Million Dollar Listing’s Fredrik Eklund splashes out $7M on 5-bed, 8-bath mansion in Beverly Hills

He became a celebrity thanks to his role on Bravo’s Million Dollar Listing New York.

And top realtor and reality star Fredrik Eklund has now cemented his move to the West Coast by splashing out a shade over $7 million for a new home in Beverly Hills.

Eklund, along with his artist husband Derek Kaplan and their twins, have moved after months of renting into a five-bedroom, eight-bedroom mansion built in 2017, according to Dirt.com.

The 5, 674-square-foot residence follows the current trend of offering a combined living and dining open plan space under a high ceiling. 

There’s also a family room area living room area with fireplace and built-in bookshelves and it backs onto the kitchen.

The kitchen has a large island with breakfast bar and features stainless steel appliances, marble counter tops and custom cabinetry.

A family room includes built-in bookshelves and a marble fireplace and this, too, opens onto the backyard. 

All five bedrooms have en suite bathrooms and , except for one, are situated on the home’s second floor.

The main bedroom includes a fireplace and a marble bath.  

The grounds offer room to roam on a third of an acre, and there’s a swimming pool with raised spa and a built-in barbecue.
