The boyfriend of TikTok star Dazhariaa has paid tribute to the teen who died by suicide on Monday after hanging herself in her closet.

The death of the 18-year-old, otherwise known as Dee, was announced by her father on Tuesday.

On his own TikTok account, her boyfriend Mike posted a video tribute to Dazhariaa captioned: ‘God bless her and her next’.

‘I think it’s time for me to let go, thank you for the memories we made together,’ it read over pictures of them together.

Fans quickly rushed to support him after comments were left blaming him for the death of the social media star, whose real name was Dazharia Shaffer.

‘You’re not responsible for anyone’s mental health,’ wrote TikToker Dessy Joseph. ‘This wasn’t your fault. I know her passing must hurt you, stay strong.’

‘Y’all can’t blame it on him. Yo do not know what happened so stay out of it,’ wrote another user Trev.

‘That fact y’all are sitting here blaming him isn’t right … you have absolutely no idea about her personal life he lost someone he loves come on now,’ added Brooke Albarran.

On his Instagram account @finessekidmike, Mike also hit out at claims he was to blame, as he posted a screenshot of text messages from Shaffer’s dad Raheem Alla that claimed she had left a note stating he was not involved.

The note also allegedly said she ‘wanted her grandma to know it wasn’t her fault’.

In her TikTok posts, Dazhariaa, from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, had spoken frequently about her relationship with her family.

The teen has previously said on social media she was raised by her grandmother and that her mother had struggled with addiction.

Both her grandmother and mother featured in her videos on social media, including a video from April 2020 which shows her and her grandmother arguing with her mother at the side of the road.

‘So, I tried to be nice & buy my homeless, crackhead, ungrateful having a$ mom food/clothes & she throws a tantrum over me not buying her cigarettes!!’ it was captioned.

However, in recent months, the teen’s posts had shown her dancing and joking with her mother and her boyfriend.

The last post showing her mother was from December 27.

According to one of Dazhariaa’s TikToks from 2020, she went years without knowing who her father was.

She said he reached out to her some four years ago, but she ‘didn’t give him a chance’.

Last year, she reached out and it appears the two formed a strong bond as he spoke of his heartbreak Tuesday at her loss.

Alla – who also goes by Rodney Andry – shared a montage of pictures of his daughter to TikTok as he thanked everyone for their ‘love and support’.

‘Unfortunately, she is no longer with us and has gone to a better place,’ he wrote.

On a GoFundMe page established for his daughter, Alla added that he wished his daughter had talked to him before her death.

‘I only wish she would have spoken to me about her stress and the thoughts of suicide,’ he said.

He added that he wished they had been able to ‘work thru this’.

‘I only want to hold you again my little jellybean. Now I come home and your no longer gonna be there waiting for me. I have to let you fly with the angels,’ Alla added.

‘She was my little best friend and I wasn’t prepared in no way, to bury my child. She was so happy and would be so excited to see me when I come home from being on the road.’

He also changed his Facebook profile picture to him and his daughter, as Noyes’ mother Jennifer Shaffer paid tribute writing: ‘I’m so heartbroken I really can’t believe you’re going I wish I was waiting on you to say it was a prank but it’s not’.

Jennifer had confirmed Dazhariaa died by hanging in a separate Facebook post.

East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner’s Office said they responded to a suicide death on Tuesday.

Dazhariaa’s last posted to TikTok on Monday – the day of her death – where she warned that she was shadow banned and would be most posting from another account.

A shadowban is when an account abruptly stops receiving views, likes, and traffic from the For You page.

Users feel that if they’d had success previously, and that success suddenly dries up, it’s a result of TikTok’s algorithm choosing to surface their content less often.

TikTok did not yet return a request for comment on the alleged ban.

The teen had also uploaded a final video to Instagram on Monday in which she claimed: ‘I know I’m annoying y’all, this is my last post’.

She ran a beauty shop through her Instagram account, where she had 112,000 fans, and also had a YouTube page named bxbygirldee where she would vlog about her life and attempt viral challenges.

Fans paid tribute to Noyes on her TikTok account where she had 1.5million followers.

‘Rest in peace beautiful,’ wrote fellow TikTok star India. ‘Praying for you and your family through this tragedy’.

‘Rest in Paradise,’ added YouTubers The Trench Family.

TikToker Brooke Albarran also commented: ‘Rest easy bb I can’t believe you’re gone.’

‘RIP sweet beautiful girl. Thank you for sharing your life with us. I wish it was easier for you. My condolences to your oved ones,’ said TikTok user Leila.

TikTok did not immediately return a request for comment on the star’s death.

Attempts were also made to contact Shaffer’s parents.
