Bam Margera admits to considering suicide as he begs fans to boycott Jackass 4 in drunken rant

Former Jackass star Bam Margera just shared a troubling video rant where he slammed the prank franchise while also admitting he’d previously been dealing with suicidal thoughts.

Margera, 41, asked fans to boycott the upcoming Jackass 4 movie while accusing the production of controlling his life when he was still involved.

The MTV star, who has long struggled with substance abuse, went on to talk about considering suicide, revealing he went so far as to look up how to tie a noose online.

As Margera starting the clip, which has since been deleted but was captured by TMZ, Bam slurred: ‘Who the f*** cares if I’m drunk as hell or not?’

Lots to say: Bam Margera admitted to having suicidal thoughts while railing against Jackass in a drunken social media rant

He later admitted to chugging a glass of wine and seven beers before sharing his rants.

‘Jackass has put me through f***ing hell on f***ing wheels for a year-and-a-half, keeping me in Pennsylvania, I couldn’t leave,’ he went said, claiming he had to take multiple breathalyzer checks per day and had to take urine tests randomly while working on previous Jackass projects.

He also said he was forced to take his antidepressant medication in front of someone from Paramount Pictures ‘every single day.’

Bam pointed out how different fellow Jackass-er Steve-O – who has been sober for over a decade – has been treated, remarking on how he’s been allowed to work and travel freely.

He went on to complain about all the money he’s shelled out on rehab in hopes of returning to Jackass.

Bam also worried that they would use his ideas in the movie without featuring him, prompting him to beg fans ‘If anybody cares about me don’t go see their movie’ and ask for money to fund his own project.

‘Jackass was everything to me,’ he sobbed, before retching and appearing to vomit.

He seemed slightly more lucid in a following video, where his worried wife Nicki Boyd was captured.

While pitching his competing project, Bam casually mentions how his wife found him looking up how to tie a noose online before turning the camera on her.

But he said things have been looking up since he moved to Oceanside, California, got off antidepressants, met new friends and started skateboarding again.

Bam has had a tough few years, dealing with multiple arrests, hospitalizations and stints in rehab.

In 2019 he was detained for trespassing after a bizarre incident in the lobby of a Los Angeles hotel.

The arrest lead to his third stint in rehab. During that stint he was hospitalized with edema.

And he suffered more misfortune last month when his Bentley was stolen while he was at the gas station and then taken on a high-speed chase which ended when the car was crashed into a house.
