Jodie Turner-Smith pushes her new baby in stroller in New York

She welcomed their first child, a daughter named Janie, back in April.

And Jodie Turner-Smith was every inch the doting mum as she took her baby girl for a stroll around the SoHo neighbourhood of New York on Wednesday.

The actress and model, 34, caught the eye as she walked as she bundled up against the chilly weather in a padded floral coat.

Jodie teamed her colourful outerwear with a light grey hoodie and matching joggers, which she paired with black shoes.

Adding some extra warmth, the Queen & Slim star added a teal beanie hat and pulled her hood over her head, while her face was covered in a blue mask. 

Jodie shares baby Janie with fellow actor and former Dawson’s Creek star Joshua Jackson, 42. 

She first began dating The Affair actor in 2018, and they married in 2019. 

The actress had a home birth in Los Angeles and spent nearly four days in labor, she told Vogue. 

Despite the bundle of joy, Jodie has faced her fair share of challenges raising her child under lockdown.

‘Navigating parenthood at any time is difficult, and it’s even more difficult without support, when everything is shut down and you can’t really see other people or go anywhere,’ said the showbiz sensation, who was born in England, told Elle.

She did note that she was fortunate to have such a young child during these trying times as she said, ‘I’m not having to sit on Zoom with her and suddenly become her educator as well as her caretaker.’

Referring to motherhood as, ‘goddess-level s**t,’ she said that women are ‘supremely powerful beings,’ while hitting back at Patriarchal society for a lack of respect for moms and women.

‘The men think they’re hardcore, but they could never do what they do while also making a baby,’ she said, sharing that she shot her film Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse during her second trimester.
