Emma Roberts celebrates 30th birthday and mom life by sharing selfie with pacifier in mouth

She gave birth to son Rhodes Robert Hedlund at the end of 2020.

And though it was a milestone birthday, Emma Roberts opted to focus on her transition to mom life.

The American Horror story actress commemorated turning 30 on Wednesday by posting a funny snap on Instagram of herself with a pacifier in her mouth.

She shared the black and white selfie with her 15.6 million followers along with the simple caption: ’30 baby.’ 

Missing from Emma’s social media post was her baby son, whom she gave birth to on December 27.

On January 12, she shared a first glimpse of her child with her Instagram followers and revealed his name was Rhodes Robert Hedlund.

‘Thank you 2020 for getting one thing right ☀️ Our bright light Rhodes Robert Hedlund,’ she wrote.

The Scream Queens star wore a flowing orange dress as she cradled little Rhodes, who was swaddled in an orange blanket and had on a beige cap.

An insider revealed to TMZ at the time that Emma’s son ‘weighed in right around 9 lbs’ and that the couple were ‘doing great after the delivery.’ 

Emma shares her son with her partner, fellow actor Garrett Hedlund, 36, with whom she was first linked in March 2019. 

The actor, who was born and raised in rural Minnesota, is best known for starring in the Oscar-nominated Netflix film Mudbound, as well as the Netflix action–adventure film Triple Frontier, in which he starred with heavyweights including Ben Affleck, Oscar Isaac, Charlie Hunnam and Pedro Pascal.

Prior to her new romance, Emma was in a seven-year on–off relationship with her AHS costar Evan Peters, 33.

Emma, who cofounded the online book club Belletrist, shared a sweet photo late last month of a surprisingly adult story time with baby Rhodes. 

The black and white image showed her cuddled up with her son, whose face was partially obscured by an advance readers’ copy of John Didion’s new essay collection Let Me Tell You What I Mean.
