‘So proud of my gorgeous girls during lockdown’: Amanda Holden shares sweet snap with her lookalike daughters Lexi, 15, and Hollie, 9

She has been busy juggling presenting her weekday Heart Radio Breakfast Show with homeschooling her two daughters.

And Amanda Holden took to Instagram on Wednesday to say she was ‘so proud’ of her children and how they were coping with 3.0.

Sharing a sweet photo with her lookalike daughters Lexi, 15, and Hollie, 9, Amanda said she was grateful for her ‘gorgeous girls’ getting through the disruptive changes to their education with ‘not too much moaning’.

The photo, taken from her album photoshoot Songs From My Heart, showed Amanda sitting in-between her two girls while out in the countryside.

Amanda wrote: ‘So proud of my gorgeous girls during this #lockdown Not too much moaning. Saluting parents and guardians everywhere who are doing their best in this trying time.’

Last month, the Britain’s Got Talent judge wished her daughter Lexi a happy 15th birthday.

Sharing a photo of her eldest child, Amanda wrote: ‘I cannot believe our baby is 15 today. Mummy and Daddy love you so much Lexi – you kind, funny, hardworking girl. We couldn’t be more proud ..❤️’.

Several of the TV star’s followers sent their well wishes to Lexi, with one writing: ‘Happy birthday Lexi, you look so pretty like your mom❤’.

It’s been a busy year for Amanda even though she’s not been able to judge Britain’s Got Talent after the show was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Bosses of the show said that despite the efforts of the teams at ITV, Thames and head judge Simon Cowell’s Syco, they were forced to call plans off.

They said: ‘With our absolute priority of safeguarding the well-being and health of every person involved in the programme from judges, hosts and contestants to all of the crew and audience, the decision has been made to – unfortunately – move the record and broadcast of the 15th series of Britain’s Got Talent to 2022…

‘Safety has to come first and, as a result, the recording of the show can’t currently go ahead as planned.’

However despite missing out on this major earner, Amanda has managed to have a strong 12 months in which she launched her album, Songs From My Heart.

The record, which was released in October, was even named the biggest-selling and highest-charting debut by a female artist in 2020.
