Holey Moley’s Jesse Earnshaw boasts he’s going to wear the show’s green jacket when he gets married

Holey Moley’s Jesse Earnshaw vowed to wear the show’s recognisable green plaid jacket on his wedding day, and he seemed intent on keeping his promise.

The 38-year-old beer salesman won the final round on Tuesday’s episode, earning him a spot in the grand final and the coveted green plaid jacket.

Earlier in the episode, Jesse said he was determined to walk away with the jacket, which he planned on wearing at his upcoming wedding to fiancée Kendra Till.    

‘When I get that plaid jacket, I’ll look over and see my fiancée, and she’ll be spewing, ’cause she’s gonna know I’m gonna wear it when we get married next year,’ he said.

Jesse added happily: ‘And there’s nothing she can say about it!’  

After winning the final round, a jubilant Jesse began to cheer and scream, as his fiancée watched on from the sidelines.

‘Jesse Earnshaw, he receives the plaid jacket, the golden putter, and moves onto the grand final,’ remarked commentator Matt Shirvington.

Meanwhile, an ecstatic Jesse could be seen sliding his arms into the plaid jacket after claiming victory.

‘Don’t forget, Shirvo, you remember why he wanted that jacket,’ added co-commentator Rob Riggle.

‘Oh, the dream’s come true!’ responded Matt, 42, after remembering Jesse’s earlier promise.

‘That’s right. He is getting married in that jacket,’ finished a bemused Rob, 50.

Jesse’s fiancée Kendra then ran into his arms, before he excitedly picked her up off the ground and spun her around.  

‘We’re getting married in this jacket!’ he declared, after giving Kendra a quick kiss on the lips. 

Seemingly unsure of what to make of it all, Kendra simply laughed nervously in response. 

Joked Rob: ‘Rumour has it, he’s going to wear it on his wedding night.’
