Celebs Go Dating: Sophie Hermann shocks as she ditches both James and Nicklas in shock twist

Celebs Go Dating saw Sophie Hermann make a huge decision as she ditched both Nicklas and James in a shock twist.

Friday night’s episode saw the celebrities to choose one singleton to join them at the masquerade ball, with those not picked having to leave the mansion immediately.

And in a move that surprised everyone, the Made In Chelsea star, 34, didn’t chose anyone and headed to the ball solo after declaring that she didn’t have a connection with either guy.

During the tense scenes, dating agents Paul Brunson and Anna Williamson tasked the celebrity girls to choose one person to go to the ball with them and explain why they had a connection.

And while her co-stars Chloe Ferry and Kimberley Hart-Simpson coupled up with Kieron and Shane respectively, Sophie decided that she would rather remain single. 

The German beauty explained that she didn’t feel she had a spark with either guy after their dates and therefore wanted to go to the party alone.

She then turned to Paul and Anna asking if this was OK, with Paul confirming that it was.

The guys, who were swiftly eliminated from the mansion, appeared to take the news quite well, with both declaring they were accepting of Sophie’s decision. 

Celebs Go Dating fans were quick to take to Twitter to share their thoughts on Sophie’s bold move, with many divided over her decision.  

‘I’m starting to think the only person Sophie’s got a connection with his herself’ commented one person.

While another viewer gushed: ‘I love the fact Sophie just doesn’t settle for anyone.’

‘So unfair of Sophie to lose someone a position’ tweeted a third person.

‘Well I wasn’t expecting that from Sophie H at all. She gave all the right intentions towards Nikolas though she has now admitted she dosnt find that spark there. I think that was very sudden for me’, observed a fourth.

With another fan adding: ‘Sophie Hermann has my heart and I dont actually mind.’

Later on in the show, Sophie was seen expressing her interest in fellow celeb Tom Zanetti during a conversation with Kimberley, in which she stated that after years of earing caviar, she was keen to try a burger. 

However, she was then left stunned as Tom later walked in with Kate, though the DJ had earlier remarked that it was just as friends. 

Meanwhile during the episode, after ditching James, Chloe had her first kiss with Kieron, after declaring her made her feel like a ‘Princess’.

The chivalrous hunk then carried her off to bed at the end of the night after she appeared to have had one too many.  

While Wayne Lineker stunned everyone as he rejected Jodie in favour of Billie-Jean, with Paul commenting: ‘I did not expect that at all!’

And Karim Zeroual and Whitney had a spectacular falling out over fish fingers, with the former Strictly star left fuming as she told him to ‘suck on a fart’.
