Jackie ‘O’ Henderson reveals nasty injury after suffering a dangerous fall while playing popular video game Candy Crush on her iPhone

She recently recovered from a skateboarding accident where she injured her rib while playing outside her home with her daughter Kitty.

And on Monday, Jackie ‘O’ Henderson revealed she hurt herself again when she fell down the stairs at her $11 million Woollahra mansion – this time because she was distracted by a popular game on her iPhone

‘I fell down the stairs,’ the 46-year-old told listeners on The Kyle and Jackie O Show as co-host Kyle Sandilands asked if the incident was a result of drinking Sauvignon Blanc, which she denied.

‘In my defence the stairs look invisible almost… it’s quiet deceiving,’ she said of the unusual design.

Jackie recalled: ‘Kitty and I were going to bed, we’re all set to watch Modern Family as we do every night… she’s not wearing a long-sleeve top and I know she’ll get cold.

‘Now, over the weekend I discovered – very late to the party, I know – Candy Crush,’ she said, as Kyle pointed out that the puzzle video game has been around for a long time.

Jackie continued: ‘I went upstairs to get her a long-sleeved top and stupidly I’m playing Candy Crush as I’m walking down the stairs not paying attention.

‘And because my stone stairs are the same colour as all floors in the house, there’s no differentiation, it kind of blends into one colour. I thought I was on the last step, but I wasn’t there was one more step.’

She said she went flying down the stairs and ‘almost cracked my head into the door.’

Luckily, Jackie she did not sustain any serious injury, but said that she had well and truly learnt her lesson.  

Jackie’s accident comes after she lost balance and fell off her daughter’s skateboard and landed on the stone floor last month.

Kitty tried to call an ambulance by dialing 911, which she thought was the right number after watching U.S. TV shows. She was redirected to a Triple Zero operator.

She hung up when her mother told her she was okay. The next day, Jackie got out of bed and almost fell over because she was feeling so dizzy. 

She then went to hospital as a precaution and said: ‘I had to wait three hours… That’s when I knew I didn’t have a serious injury.’

Jackie shares custody of Kitty with her ex-husband Lee Henderson. The pair announced their split in October 2018, after 18 years together.
