Gary Busey has revealed his pet parakeet won’t stop terrorising him.
The Oscar-nominated actor, 76, will share his bizarre predicament on Monday’s episode of Channel 10 comedy show Hughesy, We Have a Problem.
‘I have a beautiful family member, a parakeet, who’s name is Pee Wee, and she likes to get in my hair and…’ he explained in a pre-recorded video as the bird climbed across his head and pecked at his eye.

He added: ‘Right now she’s cleaning invisible food out of my teeth. Ugh! She just bit me on the lip. It’s a love bite. It’s not a [chomps teeth] like that.’
The Point Break star laughed nervously as he detailed how Pee Wee regularly plucks at the hair on his body with her beak.
‘She likes to get in my hair and make a nest out of it, and there she is trimming the beard. And she doesn’t have any razors, she just uses her beak to pull the hair out,’ he continued.

In an interview with News.com.au on Monday, Hughesy revealed that Gary had been the one to reach out to the show’s producers with his problem.
‘His problem was: what does he do about his pet parakeet that keeps attacking him?’ the 50-year-old comedian said.
‘As he was explaining the problem, the parakeet started attacking him. It nearly pecks him to death as we try to interview him!’

Hughesy joked that Gary was probably hoping to get in contact with another Channel 10 personality.
