Dr Chris Brown to host Channel Ten’s new show The Dog House Australia

He is one of Australia’s most loved television hosts.

And now, Dr Chris Brown is set to present Channel Ten’s exciting new program The Dog House Australia.

The heartwarming show will see rescue dogs placed in their ‘forever homes’. 

The program is based on the popular UK show The Dog House, which also offers an insight into how homeless dogs are matched with the perfect new owner. 

‘If the last 12 months have taught us anything, it’s that the pure joy, companionship and Zoom call cameos a furry family member can bring us is priceless,’ Chris said in a statement published by TV Blackbox.

‘So I can’t wait to help bring the stories of brave rescue doggos as they embark on the most important journey of their lives; into their forever homes. Prepare to let your love for these dogs off the leash.’

Animal Welfare League NSW CEO Mark Slater also said: ‘We are excited that the partnership with Dog House Australia will see an increased love for dogs and animals.’

‘We believe that millions of Australians will contribute towards a kinder and compassionate society through this opportunity.’

Seven are now searching for Australians who are looking for a new four-legged friend.

Meanwhile, Chris is best known for co-hosting I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Australia alongside Julia Morris.

He has also been hosting Channel Ten’s The Living Room with Amanda Keller, Barry Du Bois and Miguel Maestre since 2012.

In 2008, Chris also starred in factual program Bondi Vet, which follows his life and work at a veterinary clinic at Bondi Junction.
