Anna Heinrich reveals why it’s important to take time for yourself as a new mum 

She became a mother for the first time in November when she welcomed her daughter Elle. 

And on Monday, Anna Heinrich revealed the very important lesson she has learnt that helps her be a ‘better mum’. 

In an interview with The Daily Telegraph, the 34-year-old explained that it’s important for new mothers to also take care of themselves. 

‘This has finally, after a number of weeks, become a priority, as soon as I started to do more for me, I became a better mum to Elle,’ she told the publication. 

‘Each day if possible, I’ll take a bit of me time. This can be as simple as just taking a shower on my own, I kid you not.’ 

Anna is certainly every inch the doting mum, and regularly posts pictures of her daughter Elle online.   

Last month, she thrilled her fans when she shared an adorable image of her ‘little sunshine’ on Instagram.

‘MY LITTLE SUNSHINE,’ she captioned the post. ‘I even miss you when you’re sleeping #mylittlelove #currentlysleeping.’

Her adorable little girl was spotted looking lovingly into the lens of the camera while laying on her back.

She wore a bright orange ‘Cheesecloth’ top and bloomers from Seed Heritage, which retails online for $59.90 before sale.

Elle stayed sun-safe by wearing a ‘Flamingo Sun Hat’ from Pure Baby, which retails online for $34.95.

The infant has been part of Anna and 38-year-old husband Tim Robard’s life since they welcomed her in November.

They announced her birth on their respective Instagram pages on November 14.

‘Introducing the newest addition to our family. Elle Robards,’ Anna wrote in the caption of a picture of herself holding the newborn.
