MAFS’ Cameron Merchant is every inch the doting father as he spends time with his son Ollie

He welcomed his first child, son Oliver Chase with his wife Jules Robinson in October last year.

And on Sunday, Married At First Sight‘s Cameron Merchant was every inch the doting father as he spent time with his baby boy.

The 36-year-old shared a video to Instagram stories of his wife Jules bottle-feeding Oliver before bedtime.

‘Sunday evening just hanging out at the milkbar,’ he captioned the sweet post.

Cameron added: ‘1 for the road before bed.’

It comes after the proud father shared footage of Ollie laughing for the first time with his 294,000 Instagram followers on Tuesday.

In the video, Ollie is seen laying down getting his nappy changed while his doting mum and dad watch on.

‘Ollie’s first laugh & so special to witness it!’ he wrote.

Cameron continued: ‘Seems this is “Di-Di-Di-Di” is some real comedic genius material that hit the spot and has continued to be a non stop hilarious hit ever since.’

Jules and Cameron announced they’re expecting in Stellar magazine in April, during the coronavirus pandemic.

Jules, who found out she was pregnant in January last year, told the publication at the time: ‘I’ve had my moments, times of sadness, fear, despair and tears fuelled by hormones. We’re all in this together, though. It has to be okay.’

The couple had tried throughout 2019 to conceive a child, but had faced difficulties because of Jules’ age.

‘Because of my age I had done all the hormone testing, the egg count… so much is instilled that you’re going to struggle because of your age,’ she said.

‘Once it was all confirmed, I bawled out of pure joy and happiness. To create a baby with the man you love, there is no greater gift, and Cam will be one incredible father.’

The couple were legally married in November 2019, airing their wedding day on A Current Affair.
