While many Hollywood A-listers have relocated Down Under to film big productions locally, it’s unclear what this mystery project is.

There were no big name stars seen on set, but the scenes may have been taken for establishing shots without the need for lead actors in frame.

Interestingly, there was a fallen sign that real ‘Marvel Stadium’ in view, which is an Australian sports and entertainment stadium in Melbourne.

After watching some of the filming, a source speculated to Daily Mail Australia that it could be another Marvel blockbuster.

Marvel Zombies was a five-issue limited series published from December 2005 to April 2006 by Marvel Comics.

While there was fan speculation in 2020 of this comic series being transformed into films, Marvel have never officially confirmed the news.

If true, the film would be set in an alternate universe where the world’s superhero population has been infected with a virus which turned them all into zombies.
