Pregnant Kimberley Walsh says she has no plans for a fourth child

Kimberley Walsh has revealed she has no plans to expand her brood after she welcomes her third child later this year.

The Girls Aloud star, 39, joked she’d need to get ‘a bus’ if she were to have a fourth child, as she’s already mum to sons Bobby, six, and Cole, four.

Kimberley went onto gush that she and husband Justin Scott, 38, can’t wait for their new arrival after the star confirmed she was expecting her third child in December.

Kimberley told The Mirror: ‘I think I’m done after this one. Three’s a magic number.

‘That’ll work. I’d have to get a bus if I went for four. It’s not really where I’m at.’

Much like mums around the country, Kimberley has also been struggling with lockdown blues and homeschooling her eldest.

Taking to her Instagram recently, she uploaded a candid snap cuddling up to Bobby which she captioned: ‘You’re doing great. We both cried. We’re both trying our best…we’re both happy it’s the weekend’.

Fans applauded her honesty, leading her to add: ‘So many of you are struggling with homeschooling and I’m glad my last story gave you so much comfort. It’s tough.

‘My situation isn’t even that hard. I only have one to school but Cole is craving my attention and pregnancy hormones don’t help the whole equation.

‘Anyway I’m more than happy to share my bad days if it makes you all go easier on yourselves. Sending love to you all.’

One of the ways the family has brightened their day is by cooking together. In a recent snap, Kimberley and her boys can be seen grinning as they prepare a healthy snack.

The stunning star sported a cheerful pink and white floral blouse and wore her blonde lob down as she plated some fruit for her smiling sons.

She captioned the photo: ‘This was a rare moment of calm in our house!

‘We’re having our own day to day struggles with the current lockdown situation like everyone, but if there’s one thing that always makes my boys happy, then it’s food.’

Kimberley announced her pregnancy with OK! Magazine last month and said: ‘We chatted throughout the lockdown and said family is everything and we’re not really done, and we’d quite like to add one more to the fold.’

Kimberley added: ‘For the family, it’s been a bit of light in the distance and something to look towards and get excited about, and plan for.’

The singer explained that the chance to slow her career down this year meant she reevaluated what was most important to her.

‘I’ve had a few busy years of working and being a mum. I’m of a certain age where it’s a bit now or never.

‘There was no way in my head that I felt like I was done,’ she said, adding that she waited longer in between having her youngest and falling pregnant again because of her busy schedule.

Kimberley said she knew she was pregnant the minute her period was late, but the couple waited to break the news to their boys until she was further along.

The pair set up a Christmas treasure hunt which culminated with a note left under the tree, which read: ‘Mummy has a baby in her tummy.’

The proud mum revealed her boys are desperate for a baby brother, and unlike her previous pregnancies she is keen to find out the gender at her 20-week scan early next year.
