‘I once asked Clive Palmer for a million dollars to film a TV show (after drinking three bottles of rosé),’ she began.

‘He said he would call me back after he got off a plane.

‘That was three years ago, so unless he was flying to Mars, I assume he’s landed and isn’t planning on returning my call,’ she added.

While, it might not have worked out for the radio host, Jess revealed that it taught her a very important lesson.

‘But you know what that taught me? That rejection isn’t personal – it’s just one step closer to someone saying yes,’ she added.

She finally urged readers to reach for their ‘dreams’ no matter how ‘creative’ or ‘outlandish’ they might be.

Jess summed up her experience by saying she was grateful to have taken part.

‘I think that, gratitude for the situation and just being around such good people. How could you not just be positive and have such a ripping time?

‘There is not one d-head in the group. Maybe the person who thinks that is the d-head, I don’t know.

‘Everybody, everyone in this group is so special. I’m already planning a trip for us to go out in a motel or something,’ she said.
