And Cardi B ensured all eyes would be on her as she headed out with husband Offset to celebrate the release her new single, Up, on Thursday. 

After kicking off the evening with a virtual single release party on YouTube, the 28-year-old rapper fancied a night on the town and was seen heading out in West Hollywood.

Showcasing her famous curves, Cardi sizzled in a skintight printed unitard that highlighted her tiny waist and peachy derriere.

Boosting her petite frame, she donned a pair of barely-there gold heels, and accessorised with hoop earrings and a myriad of chunky chain necklaces.

Adding to the glamour, Cardi rocked a voluminous scarlet red wig in a crimped style that cascaded past her shoulders.

Cardi was no doubt in the mood to celebrate after sending her fans wild with the very racy music video for Up.

The video saw Cardi don an array of sexy costumes, including a transparent plastic bodysuit, a sexy gold corset and a leather-clad tribute to TLC.  

The single marks Cardi’s first release since last year’s collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion, titled WAP.

Speaking on YouTube, she explained that she ‘wanted a more hood song,’ adding: ‘I thought that my last song was more sexy… I wanted to do something more gangster, more cocky.’ 

Cardi recently took to Twitter to thank fans for supporting her, but confessed she wasn’t feeling her best as she released the single. 

‘I want to thank all my fans and everyone that genuinely support me,’ Cardi wrote.

‘I been preparing for this week for over a month. Unfortunately I’m not feeling how I wanted to feel today . I’m very happy that you guys are happy and just know I do this cause ya go so hard for me.’

Minutes later, she added a subsequent tweet: ‘I’m human and I believe that I’m strong but it’s just too much sometimes,’ the rapper continued, without referencing what specifically might have been troubling her.

‘I can’t thank my fans enough for lifting me up and remaining solid it really be too much,’ she concluded.
