‘I’ll pretend it’s him saying hi’: Chrissy Teigen says she still feels ‘kicks in her belly’… as she marks what would have been late baby Jack’s birth week

Chrissy Teigen boldly opened up about the impact of losing baby son Jack has had on her body in a series of tweets, revealing she still ‘truly’ feels ‘kicks’ in her stomach a full four-months after his death four months inutero.

The cookbook author, 35, admitted she was feeling ‘a bit off’ because Jack ‘would have been born this week while also sharing some on the constant reminders of her late son.

‘I truly feel kicks in my belly, but it’s not phantom,’ Teigen said somberly, adding: ‘I have surgery for endometriosis tomorrow…but the period feeling this month is exactly like baby kicks. sigh.’

She then shared a video of her tummy, which was subtly contracting.

‘Look at this,’ the Lip Sync Battle DJ wrote. ‘I’ll pretend it’s him saying hi – it never stops.’

The star then asked fans for their advice on endometriosis surgery, writing: ‘Can anyone tell me their experience after endometriosis surgery? What is the recovery-difficulty level? like can I make soup after.’

Chrissy and husband John Legend shared their heartbreak with the world after losing Jack due to severe pregnancy complications last year.

The mother-of-two laid her soul bare as she posted a series of wrenching photos to share the sad news back in October 2020.

Chrissy also opened up about her new sobriety while posting.

Asked if she was 100% booze-free or if she missed wine, the former model wrote: ‘I don’t miss the taste of wine. I miss the feeling. I’m hyper and anxious now. Don’t miss the feeling after. Overall: extremely happy lol.’

But she was ready to admit she was still getting used to things, telling another Twitter user she was having a hard time finding her ‘thing.’

Asked what she’s been doing to relax instead of drinking, she wrote: ‘Nothing I live in a perpetual hole of anxiety and nervousness lol I can’t find my new ‘thing.”

Fans were flocked to the comments to share their own battles with anxiety, writing: ‘The comments here are so kind and helpful. So many of you stand in anxiety solidarity – anxiety naturally makes your world feel very small so it is helpful to see so many of you relate.’

Contrary to her comment Chrissy has been trying new hobbies, recently taking up horseback riding with daughter Luna.

‘My therapist says I need something that I do for just me, as I have absolutely nothing currently lol,’ she tweeted last month.

‘Today begins my journey into the horse world. I hope this dude likes me he’s so handsome and appears lazy, I love.’
