Tash Herz hits back after season 7 MAFS stars were banned from reunion

Married At First Sight’s Tash Herz speaks out after all but TWO stars from season seven were banned from the Grand Reunion

She was noticeably absent from Married At First Sight’s Grand Reunion.

And Tash Herz has spoken out about not being invited back for the two-part special – along with most of her co-stars from the controversial seventh season.

The bartender, 32, said the network’s decision to ban brides and grooms from the 2020 season was simply a ploy to ‘drum up drama’.

‘I have spoken about this very briefly but I’ll touch on it again,’ she told her followers during an Instagram Q&A.

‘It’s clearly a money grab. It’s to drum up drama and excitement because the new season is airing.

‘I did watch it and it just… I never feel good after watching MAFS or reality TV. I always feel really drained… Like, it’s like, low vibrational s**t.

‘Like I got on the phone to my girlfriend afterwards and I was like “heal me”.’

Tash’s take on the season seven boycott comes after Michael Brunelli revealed why the majority of last year’s cohort weren’t invited.

The 30-year-old, who appeared on the show in 2019 with his girlfriend Martha Kalifatidis, said Nine banned the 2020 stars because ‘they all went rogue’.

‘They sold their stories to the paparazzi so everything was public before the show even aired,’ he told his Instagram followers on Monday.

Who was missing? Stacey Hampton, Hayley Vernon and Natasha Spencer were notable participants from season seven who were not invited to the Grand Reunion. Amanda Micallef (left) and Tash, the franchise’s first-ever lesbian couple, were also nowhere to be seen

Bombshell: Tash's opinion about her fellow cast not being invited to the Grand Reunion is the polar opposite to that of Michael Brunelli's. The 30-year-old said the reason why they were not invited back was 'they all went rogue'

‘In reality TV, “off camera” doesn’t exist (anytime they aren’t filming). The cast of that season had all their drama off-camera and it made no sense to the viewers.

‘They ruined their entire season and it was s**t to watch. I stopped because nothing made sense. So obviously they weren’t going to get invited back.’

Amanda Micallef and Tash, the franchise’s first-ever lesbian couple, were also nowhere to be seen.

Elizabeth Sobinoff, who first appeared in the 2019 season, returned last year as an ‘intruder bride’ and was paired with footballer and aspiring actor Seb Guilhaus.

The couple, who split a few weeks ago, were the only stars from season seven to feature in the Grand Reunion.
