Married At First Sight’s Martha Kalifatidis drunkenly reveals reunion secrets on Instagram Live – including how much she and boyfriend Michael Brunelli earned for their appearance

They’re one of the few success stories from Married At First Sight – and they showed just how loved-up they still are during Monday night’s Grand Reunion.

And almost immediately after the show aired, Martha Kalifatidis and Michael Brunelli appeared a little worse for wear as they revealed behind-the-scenes secrets during a live Q&A with fans on Instagram.

When someone asked about the participants’ salaries, Michael, 30, said the relationship experts ‘earned the most’.

Martha then blurted out: ‘No, we probably got more than them!’

Michael, who seemingly realised his girlfriend was breaking her contract by talking about pay, responded: ‘Oh, you’re f**ked! You’re an idiot… anyway, moving along!’

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Channel Nine for comment. 

The couple also revealed that filming for the reunion went on for 15 hours, and their turn on the couch with the experts didn’t take place until about 3am.

‘That is how you make a reality TV show,’ Martha said. ‘You film for 12, 14, 16 hours a day and then you just show people 20 minutes.’

They then showed a lengthy receipt for a McDonald’s they had ordered at 4:06am, after two long days of filming in December.

The pair have been dating since meeting on the 2019 season of MAFS, and are one of the few couples to remain together after the experiment.

During the reunion, the duo hinted they might want day want to start a family as they spoke with with resident expert Mel Schilling.

‘Everyone puts this pressure, we get the phone calls from home. We get the marriage and the baby questions. It’s always coming up,’ Martha said.

‘I think it’s a natural progression, it’ll definitely happen,’ she added.

‘We’re in no rush, we’re really enjoying where we are right now. Like, it’s just perfect.’
