Kim Kardashian wears ‘sensual’ silk pajamas from SKIMS collection

Kim Kardashian went retro for her latest SKIMS campaign.

The 40-year-old bombshell stunned as she slipped into gold and bronze colored silk in a retro pinup photoshoot for the latest loungewear collection.

Sharing a series of promotional photos to Instagram on Tuesday, Kim proved once more that she is her own best advertisement.

To drum up excitement about the new drop, Kim embraced vintage boudoir vibes and was make up to look like an old school pinup.

The mother of four had her raven locks curled and coifed in a shiny and voluminous style that cascaded around her slim shoulders.

Kim’s glamsquad gave her a dramatic flicked cat-eye and a perfected her pout with a classic matte red lipstick – likely from her KKW Beauty line. She later ditched the red and swept on a shimmery neutral creme lipstick.

The setting for the shoot was styled as a luxurious Hollywood home that would have been fit for a starlet from the 1950s. 

In the snaps, Kim modeled items from her silk line in different rooms, at one point reclining on a leopard printed fainting chaise in a chocolate brown silk pajama set.

The voluptuous cover girl even gave a nod to her entrepreneurial side in one image where she held on to the business section of the newspaper with long red talon-like nails and coquettishly peaked over the top of the page. 

Kim made sure to let the loungewear shine brightest by putting her infamous curves in display.

While curled up on a velvet chair, Kim puckered up for the camera in a silk robe and body suit and snapped selfies with an old-school video camera. 

‘Introducing a rich collection of romantic loungewear in golden tones and sensual styles, made from silky fabric with added stretch,’ the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star penned in a social media caption.

She added that the new line, which comes in four colors and an inclusive size range, drops at the end of the week on Friday, February 5. 

Kardashian debuted her SKIMS Solutionwear brand in 2018 and quickly expanded out from shapewear to bras and panties, tights and loungewear.

It seems that every other week the direct-to-consumer line is dropped yet another collection, complete with a full promotional ad campaign starring Kim herself and a range of size and race inclusive models.

Kim hasn’t missed a beat with her business despite her rocky marriage with husband Kanye West. 

Things between the couple, who have been together for nearly a decade are said to be a ‘downright toxic’ these days.

The pair began to live apart amid ongoing battles, with Kim allegedly beginning first talks with her divorce attorney Laura Wasser back in July.

A source told Us Weekly that Kim has been formulating ‘an exit plan that would be best for her whole family.’ 

She is currently trying to figure out the best way to split the pair’s ‘financials and properties,’ with the source saying that it is a ‘very fair deal’ for both. 

‘Kim has all of her assets and financials ready for when she decides to file officially. Friends thought she was going to file in September, but she’s holding out,’ the insider added.
