Britney Spears says she ‘can’t stand’ technology as she replies to people knocking her posts

Britney Spears says she ‘can’t stand’ technology as she replies to people knocking her imperfect posts and silly dancing: ‘I’m doing this for fun!’

Britney Spears regular dance videos have been the topic of conversation throughout the months of COVID-19 quarantine.

And on Monday, four days after her latest dance post, the Toxic star responded to the trolls and fans who have critiqued the clips that are normally shot in her living room or home gym.

The pop princess, 39, seemed exasperated, telling everyone how little patience she had for technology while noting her posts were only meant to be fun.

Nothing to see here: Britney Spears, 39, responded to trolls and fans who’ve been posting negative comments or genuine concern after watching her living room dance videos

Spears’ reasoning for blaming technology appears to be a reference to her lack of understanding of all the tech devices.

‘I’m trying to learn how to use technology in this technology driven generation …. but to be totally honest with you I can’t stand it !!!’ she began in the caption of a photo showing her in a frilly white crop top.

‘So … if my posts aren’t perfect … I’m doing this for fun !!!! If you think I should look like I’m on a magazine cover when I dance …. sorry ain’t happening!!!!

Following the release of her most recent dance video last Thursday, most people took to the comments section to express their uneasiness with the look and feel of the singer in the video.

‘Does anyone else feel awkward or uncomfortable watching this?’ one person wrote.

There were a number of people who posted similar sentiments like: ‘I’m scared for her tbh (to be honest).

‘What is the point of these videos of her dancing like she’s slept for days and just woke up?’ another fan shared, in a reference to Spears looking disheveled.

‘They scare me because obviously Brittany is going through something.’

Some people are worried the singer, who has had a history of mental health issues, may be spending too much time, alone in her Los Angeles mansion.

‘Can someone finally take Britney out of that house ? She is going nuts…she lives in that house like [a] prisoner.’

Another post read: ‘Nobody knows what’s going on with her, but I think she genuinely loves dancing.’

And finally, someone else summed up a lot of the comments by posting: ‘She is so lost.’
