Jessie Murphy revealed she’s pregnant with her second child, a girl.

The 30-year-old wife of Australian rules footballer Marc Murphy made the announcement on Instagram on Monday.

Sharing a series of photos of herself, her husband of five years, and the couple’s three-year-old son, Max, Jessie cradled her burgeoning baby bump.

‘We can’t wait to meet you baby girl,’ she captioned the post, adding a pink love heart emoji.

It’s the second child for the couple, who welcomed son Max in January 2018.

‘Yesterday our little Maxy turned 3!! You are our world, we love you so much!!’ she wrote on Instagram on January 15.

In an interview with Daily Mail Australia in November 2018, Jessie spoke about how she’d been adjusting to life as a new mum. 

‘I’ve just embraced motherhood each day as it comes. It’s such a rewarding job to be a mother,’ she said at the time. 

She added that she hadn’t ‘felt any pressure at all’ to lose the baby weight.

‘It’s your body, so you can’t really compare yourself [to others], and I just keep active really,’ she said.

And while she admitted that she and Marc, 33, weren’t in a hurry to add to their brood, she hinted that more children were in their future.  

‘Max is only nine months now. It’s nice to get to a year with Max and just enjoy each day,’ she said at the time.
