Stacey Solomon admits fiancé Joe Swash isn’t speaking to her

Stacey Solomon has admitted her fiancé Joe Swash is giving her the silent treatment as he is convinced she is the Sausage on The Masked Singer but won’t tell him. 

The Loose Women presenter, 31, is thought by many fans of the ITV series to be the celebrity behind Sausage and it seems Joe agrees. 

Sharing a clip to her Instagram Stories on Sunday, Stacey filmed herself and Joe in the kitchen as she quizzed him on why, if she was the Sausage, would she need to keep it a secret from him. 

She said: ‘I just need to take a moment to appreciate that he’s actually not talking to me because he thinks I’m the Sausage on The Masked Singer and I just haven’t told him. What the hell?’

Joe, referencing a clue on Saturday night’s episode to Sausage’s identity, said: ‘Listen, the Sausage said she loves to relax in the camper van.’

Stacey immediately replied: ‘When have I ever liked to relax in the camper van?’

‘We’ve got a camper van so that’s a massive clue,’ Joe said.

Stacey asked: ‘Why would I not tell you of all people. Why would I need to hide it from you?’

‘It might be in your contract,’ Joe speculated, to which Stacey laughed.

In another clip, she insisted to her followers: ‘I’m not the Sausage, I promise.’ 

It comes after Sir Lenny Henry and A-Ha singer Morten Harket were both unmasked during a double elimination on Saturday night’s episode of The Masked Singer. 

The remaining five stars – Sausage, Dragon, Harlequin, Robin and Badger – will try to fool audiences once again in the semi-final next week. 

The show has sparked dozens of theories over who is behind the remaining seven masked singers, with Stacey and Aston Merrygold both tipped as competing.

Last week actor John Thomson was revealed to be Bush Baby after he was eliminated.

The Cold Feet star, 51, was one of the first celebrities who the panel failed to guess ahead of his unmasking, after completely throwing viewers with a fake Australian accent.

After his unmasking John admitted he was ‘relieved’ to be revealed as he’d struggled to keep cool in the stifling hot animal suit, joking he hoped to land a job at Disney in the future.

Davina McCall said she was thrilled that nobody on the panel guessed Bush Baby’s identity, despite theories including Jamie Oliver and Gino D’Campo.

Also already unmasked have been Alien, who was revealed to be Sophie Ellis Bextor, and Seahorse, who turned out to be Spice Girl Mel B.

Swan was also revealed as Martine McCutcheon while the Grandfather Clock was former footballer Glenn Hoddle in disguise.
