Justin Hartley’s girlfriend Sofia Pernas gushes about how he ‘lights up my sky’ in birthday message

Justin Hartley celebrated his 44th birthday on Friday, January 29.

And to mark the milestone, his ladylove of eight months, Sofia Pernas, took to Instagram and shared a sweet message along with one of her favorite snaps of the This Is Us star.

‘Celebrating this man with my fav screen grab. That smile!!! Lights up my sky. Happy Birthday,’ the Blood & Treasure actress gushed in the caption.

The Spanish-Moroccan-American actress, 31, ended her adorable birthday message with the Arabic word ‘habibi, which translates in English to ‘my love.’ 

Hartley’s 16-year-old daughter Isabella gave her approval by posting a heart emoji.  

In the screen grab, the actor is the picture of unbridled enthusiasm with a big beaming smile on his face as he stares directly into the camera with a baseball cap on.   

The couple previously worked together on The Young and the Restless back in 2015 and they began dating in May 2020.

Pernas is Hartley’s first serious relationship since his split from ex-wife and Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause in 2019. 

The former couple started dating in 2014 and tied-the-knot three years later. But by November 2019 Hartley filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences, which surprised both fans and the TV star herself.  

Stause would go on to file for dissolution of the marriage in December 2019.  

She claims her ex-husband told her of his intent to file for divorce in a text, and that he had shared the news with her only 45 minutes before it was made public.   

They reached a confidential divorce settlement this past January, which includes terms of divorce as well as spousal support, and details of the settlement have not been made public.  

Stause has since moved on and is now dating Dancing With The Stars professional dancer Keo Motsepe, whom she met while competing on the show earlier this year.
