Dramatic footage shows the moment a truck narrowly avoided crashing into a food van before tipping over on a country road in Lyon County, Nevada, 60 miles east of Carson City.

In the video, taken last Thursday, a driver is seen following a van delivering supplies to a food bank down a country lane.

Ahead in the distance, a truck carrying karaoke equipment travelling in the opposite direction is seen pulling towards a sharp bend in the road.

But as it tries to make the turn, the vehicle appears to be going too fast, and the driver loses controls as it lifts up onto its left wheels.

With only a second’s notice, the food van swerves out of the road, clipping itself on the back of the truck as flips over and slams into the road.

Other drivers rush to the truck and help two men, who appear to be unharmed, out of the cabin.

The motorist following the van said: ‘The truck took the turn too fast, turning right from Aiazzi Lane onto Miller Lane in Lyon Country Nevada.

‘The truck driver said to me he was going about 25-30 mph taking the turn and was carrying karaoke equipment.

‘No injuries and the food bank van was barely clipped on the back rear quarter and brake light.’
