Vanessa Hudgens posts selfies from Scotland while filming Princess Switch amid pandemic

Her recent posts from abroad have caused somewhat of a stir on social media.

Vanessa Hudgens took to Instagram with a series of outdoor selfies on Monday from the country of Scotland.

Ever the thrill-seeker, Hudgens, 32, explored the countryside and shared a photo in front of a stone wall that displayed the sign Loch Road. 

Vanessa stayed warm underneath a cozy black puffer jacket paired with a creamy long-sleeved sweater. 

She had on gold earrings and wore a small black purse adorned with a white Playboy bunny pattern. 

Earlier in the day, the Beastly star happily posed against a river with a red bridge in the distance while taking in the sights abroad.

She also has posted various brief video snippets to her IG stories from her Scottish travels. 

Some social media users criticized the High School Musical star for the posts, citing coronavirus restrictions and implying that the actress was flouting them.

However, other fans were quick to point out that Hudgens had a viable, professional reason to be in Scotland, as she is said to be filming the third installment of her Princess Switch film franchise.

And as with all professional film productions currently underway, the utmost precautions are being taken to ensure all those on set are at minimal risk of infection.

Like many parts of the US, Scotland is currently on a coronavirus-related lockdown.

As of this month, the Scottish government does not permit travel between Scotland and other parts of the United Kingdom, and strongly discourages or outright prohibits nonessential foreign travel, the BBC reports.

However, as seen back home in Hollywood, Vanessa’s Princess Switch shoot is apparently deemed essential as the production creates a significant amount of jobs in the local area.
