It appears Justine Timberlake and wife Jessica Biel are trying hard to find a healthy balance in raising their two young sons under the glaring light of Hollywood.
The affects of fame, and parenting as a whole, were among the hot topics Timberlake discussed in a revealing interview on Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast.
The high-profile couple, who celebrated eight-years of marriage last October, are the parents to sons Silas, five, and Phineas, six months.

The 10-time Grammy-winning singer, 39, confessed to being worried about how his and his wife’s fame will affect their kids’ relationships and friendships.
‘I try to be conscious of making sure we can live a life where we’re not weirdly private but we’re conscious of making sure they can be kids for as long as possible,’ Timberlake said.
‘And not have the weight of somebody else treating them differently because of something that their parents do.’

Both Timberlake and Shepard agreed that it could prove to be difficult for the kids to make real friendships because of their fame.
‘I have that great fear that kids are going to hang out with them solely because of that or resent them because of that,’ Shepard said of his daughters Delta, six, and Lincoln, seven, whom her shares with wife and actress Kristen Bell.
Timberlake and Shepard also discussed how they have instructed their respective children not to disclose that they have parents who are the voices behind two animated favorites: Bell plays Anna in the Frozen franchise films and Timberlake voices Branch in the Trolls movies.

‘I know you’re proud and you should be able to say that, but I’m just warning you, that’ll probably make other kids jealous and they won’t know how to handle that feeling,’ Shepard admitted to telling his girls.
‘Yeah, we have this same thing where, like, the kids at school with my five-year-old are like, “Your dad is Branch,” the Cry Me A River singer added.
‘For guys like us, you know, the hope is that we just keep instilling in them that we got really fun jobs, but it’s not who we are.’
Shepard and Bell starting dating in late 2007 and eventually got married in 2013.
