She has been busy filming Netflix‘s Don’t Look Up in Boston, Massachusetts.
And on Monday, Australian actress Cate Blanchett took a break from filming as she stepped out for a stroll in New York City.
The 51-year-old looked effortlessly chic as she wrapped up against the winter chill in an oversized pink coat.

Underneath her vibrant coat, the two-time Oscar winner kept her look simple with a pair of black pants and matching shoes.
She swept her cropped blonde hair back into a bun and concealed her gaze behind a pair of designer sunglasses.
Cate also wore a face mask to help limit the spread of Covid-19.

The Blue Jasmine star toted a black cross-body handbag, and also dragged along a small black suitcase and a large textured tote.
The latest sighting comes after Cate was spotted filming scenes for Don’t Look Up in Boston last week.
Don’t Look Up is an upcoming sci-fi comedy set for release on Netflix from Oscar winning writer-director Adam McKay of The Big Short fame.

In addition to Cate, the stellar cast includes Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Chris Evans, Timothée Chalamet, Meryl Streep, Jonah Hill, Matthew Perry and Ariana Grande.
The film follows two astronomers who must convince Earth’s population that an approaching comet will soon cause the end of the world.
Filming had been scheduled to start in February, but the coronavirus pandemic forced the production to delay until April.
It’s expected to wrap up next month and is slated for release sometime in 2021.
