The presenter, 50, left the long-running lunchtime staple last month, shortly after Andrea McClean announced her resignation.

And Saira, who has blocked some members of the panel on Instagram, said she felt there were bits towards the end of her stint on the show which she ‘didn’t feel were part of the sisterhood’.

Speaking to OK! Magazine, Saira said: ‘There were elements both on screen and behind the scenes of being a Loose Woman that towards the end I didn’t enjoy and I didn’t feel like it was part of the sisterhood.

‘It wasn’t make me happy so I had to bow out, look after my mental health and give someone else my platform.

Following her departure Saira blocked Nadia Sawalha, Kaye Adams and Jane Moore from viewing her Instagram posts.

While it had initially been believed that the trio of panellists had unfollowed their former co-star, the source told MailOnline all three were unceremoniously blocked.

Despite this, Kaye and Jane, both 58, are both still following Saira Skin, their co-star’s skincare business, on the social media platform.

But Saira is still following other famous faces from the chat show, including Stacey Solomon, Brenda Edwards and Ruth Langsford.

Likewise, the ex-Apprentice star has not deleted Loose Women’s Linda Robson, Coleen Nolan, Denise Welch, Kelle Bryan and Judi Love from her Instagram.

Saira announced that she was leaving Loose Women, just two weeks after fellow panellist Andrea quit the show.

The TV star explained her ‘difficult’ decision in her column for The Mirror, saying the coronavirus crisis made her reassess what’s important.

Detailing how she felt she had ‘nothing left to share’, Saira claimed she now wants to focus on her skincare brand and other projects.

Saira told fans that she had shown people she was ‘an opinionated, strong woman’, and said that the COVID-19 crisis has simply helped her realise that her job no longer gave her satisfaction.

The TV personality concluded her column by urging viewers to look after themselves mentally and physically, and to ‘find your balance’, as a job won’t do that for them.

Saira recently revealed that she wants to be replaced on Loose Women by ‘a gay, transgender or non-binary person’ after quitting the show.
